Illinois is located in the Midwestern Region of the
United States and was the 21st state to join the union.
Being the most populous state in the Midwest and the
5th most populous in the nation it gives both diversity
in population and also in it's diversity of city life.
It has everything from rural areas, small industrial
cities, vast areas of open land and a metropolis.
The courthouses used to be a lot more crowded at one time with people doing public records research. Now you can locate the same records on the Internet and you don't have to leave your office to go to the courthouse and research these land records.
