The state of Alabama is located in the Southern part
of the United States. Bordered by Tennessee, Georgia,
Florida and the Gulf of Mexico and the state of Mississippi.
Alabama was the 22nd state to become part of the union
and suceded from the union in the year 1861. They were
readmitted to the union is 1868.
